Ten couples from the Kiltimagh area and from Western Care Services are in intensive training at present in preparation for a spectacular Gala Night in the Park Hotel, Kiltimagh on Saturday, March 10th where the glitz and glamour of the Strictly Come Dancing TV show will be recreated.  Competition between the couples is intense with everybody putting their best feet forward to win the overall prize!

This event will raise funds for the local Coillte Childcare Centre and Western Care Local Services.  The unique feature of this event is that the winning couple will be chosen by ‘public vote' which will be the highest amount of sponsorship raised both before the event and on the night.

Coillte Childcare Centre is a purpose-built Childcare Centre located at the rear of Kiltimagh Parish Church.  The Centre opened in Autumn 2007 and, while it is part Government funded, it remains strongly reliant on fundraising each year.  Services provided at the Centre include full day-care, sessional playschool and afterschool care.

It is staffed by highly-qualified, experienced personnel who have been working in childcare for many years and between them have a wealth of experience.  Coillte Childcare Centre is committed to providing a high quality service that offers a safe, secure and stimulating environment to all children and families using the service.
