Funding for Mayo woman's project
Minister of State for Disability, Equality, Mental Health and Older People, Kathleen Lynch TD has announced a commitment of over €1.1 million in additional funding to 36 positive action projects across Irelandincluding South West Mayo Development Company which is to receive €33,333.

Fair wind for Corrib Regatta
Cong photogapher, Richard Finnegan, attended the SOD Corrib Regatta, at the weekend, and took some lovely phtographs of the sailing boats as they set off from Lisloughrey Bay in Cong on their way to Cornamona in Co Galway.
Ballina athlete finishes 13th in Belfast marathon
Wild windy weather and driving rain greeted the athletes in the 2012 Belfast marathon. Coupled with a challenging course, this was not a marathon for the faint hearted this year.
