Ballinrobe Time Trial was tough going. Ballinrobe Time Trial was tough going.

On a windy squally St Stephen's Day, day 20 brave soles through caution to the wind and lined up outside the cycling centre Ballinrobe for 16 rough kilometers, armed with Christmas dinner and a belly  full of beverages from the day before, motivation was on thin ice.

Still times were reasonable with most giving it plenty of whip even without a Speedo or watch to guide them and everyone enjoyed the test once it was completed.

Thanks to the helpers who stood out to marshal and take times on a not so nice St Stephen’s day.

Everyone retreated back to the comforts of Inch’s bar for much needed sustenance.
