Teach Aisling to stay open

Mayo Fine Gael TD John O'Mahony has welcomed the decision by the HSE to keep Teach Aisling, Castlebar open.

Deputy O’Mahony said that this unit plays an essential part in the mental Health services in Castlebar and Mayo. 

"I would like to pay tribute to all the staff working in this unit who provides an excellent service to the patients and their families," he said.

“There was speculation some time ago that this unit would close but I can now confirm that that this is not case”
