A group from Claremorris Fine Gael visited to Dáil Éireann and were given a tour of The Houses of the Oireachtas including the Dáil and Seanad by Mayo Fine Gael TD, John O'Mahony.

The National 30k Walk championships takes place at  Claremorris Athletic Track on Sunday 19th February at 11am.

Claremorris Fine Gael councillor, Tom Connolly, has welcomed the decision by Mayo County Council to take in charge the avenue leading to the Convent of Mercy National School and Mount Saint Michael secondary school and also leading on to the main Castlebar road.
