A meeting of the newly-reformed Jack Garrett Fianna Fáil Comhairle Cheantair in Crossmolina was adjourned as a mark of respect for the late Sylvie Mulhern R.I.P.

There will be no indoor soccer training with Kilmurry YSC in Crossmolina Sports Hall on Saturday, January 28th.  Indoor soccer training will resume in Crossmolina Sports Hall on Saturday, February 4th. To register, please attend at the times listed.  There is a registration fee.

Funding to give new lease of life to Crossmolina Town Hall

Minister for Tourism and Sport, Michael Ring has warmly welcomed the announcement of funding in the amount of €18,261 for Crossmolina Town Hall from the Minister for Health, Dr. James Reilly T.D. Minister Ring said that the money wwould be usede to carry out much needed work for the hall. The aim of the Town Hall Committee is to provide social and recreational facilities for the parish of Crossmolina.

Minister for Tourism and Sport, Michael Ring has today welcomed a Top Up payment measure for hill sheep farmers for the next two years which will benefit farmers in the Owenduff/Nephinbeg areas of Mayo.

Mayo Fine Gael TD Deputy Michelle Mulherin has welcomed the announcement by Brian Hayes, TD Minister of State with special responsibility for the Office of Public Works, that Crossmolina is included in the 5 year Major Capital Programme of the OPW which will see funding being made available for flood risk management and mitigation measures in the North Mayo town.
