Funding to give new lease of life to Crossmolina Town Hall

Minister for Tourism and Sport, Michael Ring has warmly welcomed the announcement of funding in the amount of €18,261 for Crossmolina Town Hall from the Minister for Health, Dr. James Reilly T.D. Minister Ring said that the money wwould be usede to carry out much needed work for the hall. The aim of the Town Hall Committee is to provide social and recreational facilities for the parish of Crossmolina.

Said Minister Ring: "This hall will also be used for youth meetings, Foróige Clubs, Brownies, Scouts etc.

"It will indeed be used for the older person and for the more senior people too for meals on wheels and for social occasions, get-togethers and dancing.

“I am delighted that this funding has been approved. I wish the committee well in all the very valuable work they carry out in the Crossmolina area” concluded Minister Ring.
