FC Guillermo, named after Foxford-born Argentine naval hero, Admiral William Brown, (known in Spanish as Guillermo Brown) is an Irish fustal team who will be participating in the F.A.I. Emerald Fustal League.

The team was set up with the goal of promoting the strong historical link between Foxford and Argentina through football continuing the work of local legend JJ O’Hara. It is a tribute to JJ that so many Argentinians have become involved already with the project.

Round 8 of the FAI Emerald Futsal League, Sees FC Guillermo take on Current League Champions Shamrock Rovers in the National Basket Ball Arena Tallaght.

A crunch game for both teams with a hugely valuable three points up for grabs, three points which could prove decisive in the later stages of the League! FC Guillermo come to the came on the back of two 5 -0 wins against Fifth Infantry Battalion & Alpha respectfully.

FC Guillermo are asking for as much support as possible for the match, Fans are asked to be in the Arena as early as possible before kick off, to build the teams now legendary support and Atmosphere!

First come first served bus will run depending on interest. Price is €20 return and includes match tickets.
