Sod turned on N.59 Kilbride Road scheme

Local councillors, Mayo County Council officials and landowners also attended at the sod turning event. 

Wills Brothers Ltd from Foxford are the main contractors for the scheme.  The construction cost for the scheme is €3.5 million.

Minister Ring stated: “This will be a significant improvement for this road and one of the most important aspects of this project is the completion of the last segment of the Great Western Greenway, which has already proven to be a huge success since it was opened.”
